The Nolan Ryan Foundation

The Nolan Ryan Foundation is the official 501(c)(3) team charity of the Round Rock Express.  Formed in Alvin, Texas in 1990, the Foundation provide resources for youth, education and community development. In 2017, the Nolan Ryan Foundation relocated to Round Rock, Texas. Recent Central Texas impacts include a substantial contribution to the Play for All Abilities Park in Round Rock, a scholarship endowment fund and a community grant program.

The Nolan Ryan Foundation scholarship program strives to change the lives of deserving Central Texas students who will attend a state school in Texas.  Scholarships are awarded in varied sums up to $16,000 per student, renewable up for up to four years.  The goal of the scholarship program is to bridge the gap between financial aid and tuition expenses, so that students don’t have the added burden of incurring debt along with a college education.

The Nolan Ryan Foundation community grant program will expanded financial support to instrumental organizations in the Round Rock and surrounding communities that focus on youth, education and community development.
